UNREAL DEAL!! American Express Gift Card Moneymaker @ Publix!!
This is one of my most favorite Publix deals!! It just doesn’t get much easier than this!! The new ad for Publix features a coupon to save $10 on a $100 American Express gift card when you buy at least $25 in groceries.
Here’s how to do the deal:
- BUY American Express Gift Card $100 + $5.95 fee = $105.95
- USE $10/1 American Express Gift Card Publix Q ($10.00)
- PAY $95.95 for a gift card worth $100!! = $4.05 MM!!
Try to think “outside of the box” on this deal. Are you going to spend $100 on something in the near future that could be paid for using an American Express gift card? Mother’s Day dinner and/or gift? Groceries? Gas? If the answer is yes, then consider doing the deal. You buy the Amex gift card. You only pay $95.95, but you have $100 to spend in the form of the Amex card. Then you use the $100 Amex gift card to pay for the Mother’s Day dinner, gas, groceries, whatever. So, essentially, you’ve just made $4.05!! 
The trick is that you have to spend $25 in groceries to be able to use the coupon. But that $25 is before coupons!! So put together some of the free or nearly free deals, get your grocery total up to $25, then knock it back down with coupons!!
Just be aware that there is up to a 24 hr “activation” period for the Amex gift card. So you can’t turn around and use it right away. I thought I was being smart the first time I did the deal. I bought the Amex card first, then immediately tried to pay for my groceries with the card. WRONG!!

DOUBLE COUPONS IN SOUTH FLORIDA!!! Tunie’s In Coral Springs
YES, you are reading this correctly!! Tunie’s in Coral Springs is running a one day DOUBLE COUPON sale ~ tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9!! They are doubling ALL manufacturer’s coupons! 
I spoke with the staff at the store this evening. As of early Tuesday evening, here are the details for Wednesday’s event:
