Don’t forget to take advantage of the K-mart Double Coupon events going on this week. Any coupon up to $2 in value will be doubled. That means a $2 coupon is worth $4 this week. We’ve done a few runs to the Boca Raton K-mart … it’s been great!!

Talked with a store mgr @ Boca K-mart today. According to her,the double coupon event will be on all manufacturers coupons, not just P&G. She said that there will be signs in the store even though the ad doesn’t state that doubles will be offered. I’m
hoping for the best … But prepared in case it is P&G only. For those who get there on Sun. please post to let us know how u do.

Well, it still seems like K-mart is still holding to the idea that the double coupon event will be only for Procter & Gamble products. I guess my approach will be to check with a store manager to see what their approach is going to be. I’m not going crazy on preparation this time … but I’ll be ready in case the green light is on!!
Unfortunately, I’m not getting to go until Monday, so Im hoping everything isn’t off the shelves at that point! If anyone has success stories to share about their doubles shopping, please post to our blog.

you find yourself writing an e-mail about how exciting it was to get free toilet paper!! I think I’m losing it! Mom & I went to Albertsons today and stocked up on the Marcal toilet paper and tissues. Then I came home and found the new Publix and Winn Dixie ads in the mail. I actually find myself getting almost giddy with anticipation as I pour through the ads quickly scanning to see what’s on BOGO and trying to remember what I have coupons for or what I’ve seen coupons for. I’m already chomping at the bit to see what will be in the new “green slick” from Publix. I know the current Health & Beauty ad expires on 9/25. The new one will probably be out a day or so after that.
Does anyone else get excited like this??? Actually, I know my sister in VA does. I remember one day talking with her on the phone. We’re not talking about coupons, but she suddenly says, “oh my gosh, I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow morning.” I ask her why, thinking she and her husband were going to do something special. Guess what her answer was. The new grocery store ads were coming out and she couldn’t wait to see who was doing doubles and triples!
Just received an e-mail from White Cloud announcing a new product line. Another great coupon $1 off of a 2 pack of their new “green” paper towels or a 4 pack of toilet tissue. Wal-mart has sold the White Cloud toilet paper in the past, so they may have this new product in house as well.

I’m not sure whether this is just a CSR that doesn’t know what is going on or if this is for real!! According to the e-mail, they are only going to be doubling the P&G Coupons that say P&G?? Does not make any sense to me. But I’m going to contact Customer Service directly and speak to a supervisor to find out what’s going on. I’ll keep you posted.
